Description
Photograph of the inner San Pedro Harbor from the lumberyard, looking north to Wilmington and Terminal Island, [s.d.]. Three buildings are visible. The first, in the extreme foreground, is partially visible and appears to be in the craftsman style. The second, in the background closest to the inlet, is fully visible, one-story and also appears to be in the craftsman style. Between them, what appears to be a small shed is amongst the lumber. "A general view northeasterly from a position which would now (1945) correspond to Berth 92. The building in the foreground was situated on the southerly side of Boschke Slough. Morman Island [sic] (aka Mormon Island) may be seen as a little cluster of buildings beyond the open body of water which would now correspond to the Turning Basin."--unknown author.
