Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption dated March 7, 1985 reads, "The pilot was killed, the twin-engine plane destroyed, the home it crashed into burned to the ground, but the engine that apparently failed and dropped on the Granada Hills home 'like a rock' last night can be seen in the center of the debris as a city firefighter walks through the wreckage. The lone person inside the Ruffner Avenue house, Kenneth Ashton, 38, was treated for smoke inhalation at Granada Hills Community Hospital."
