Photograph article dated August 9, 1962 partially reads, "Feathers, felt and straw replaced traditional baseball caps for untraditional 'Fractured Fractions' baseball team, comprised of dads whose sons play with minor league teams in Central Valley Little League. Fractions play each year against major league team fathers, lost this year 10-4, but still delighted crowd with their fringed-at-the-knee knickers, white shirts sporting fractions of numbers, and individual headgear including sports car, Confederate, Texan, Polynesian and Indian headdress hat varieties...Team was organized approximately six years ago."
