Synthia Molina was a student in Peter Drucker’s class at the Claremont Graduate University (M.B.A. 1989). Her first impression of the professor was that of “an old guy” who could not keep his thoughts in order. Before the class was over, Molina’s impression changed to that of great respect for his talent as a teacher and brilliant insight into the philosophy of management. In the mid-1990s, she directed the MBA program at Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management. Molina recounts what it was like to be a student in his class as well as a Drucker colleague. Molina believed Doris Drucker to be a “large part of his success” and the Druckers’ lasting marriage to be a testament to his philosophy.
