Samuel Soren (1931-1977). Teacher at Benagaria, Santal Parganas, North India. In 1958 assistant at the church office of NELC, and in 1960 the first national treasurer. From 1969 he was elected as church secretary of NELC. Samuel Soren died after an operation at Vellore Mission Hospital in South India, 28th August 1977. (Used in: Santalposten no. 4/1967).
