Description
The West Coast Computer Faire was an annual computer industry conference and exposition. The first faire was held in 1977 and was organized by Jim Warren and Bob Relling. At the time, it was the biggest computer show in the world, intended to popularize the personal computer in the homes. The Sixth West Coast Conference took place in San Francisco on April 3-4-5, 1981. This is the recording of the panel titled "UCSD Pascal:details". The titles of the papers presented are: "UCSD Pascal, version IV: a user's view" by Charles Chapin. "The IBS multi-user/multi-tasking operating system" by Alfred A. Pease and Robert G. Nelson. "Progressing from 1.0 to 1.1: A review of the new Apple Pascal" by Carl Helmers. "Digicomp research Pascal-100: high performance UCSD Pascal on the S-100 bus" by Mark Bodenstein.
