Handwritten Abstract of Title to N.W. 1/2 of Lot 4 Leddy Tract. Dated January 7, 1910, made at the request of J. M. Nelson, Esq. to all that lot of land described in the deed from Montgomery and Rea to Wells S. Trader dated July 20, 1887 and next hereinafter set forth. Beginning our examination by direction on July 20, 1887. Transactions: T. S. Montgomery and James W. Rea to Wells S. Trader, 20 July 1887. Wells S. Trader to Maggie Henley, 1 September 1887. Typed Continuation of The Foregoing Abstract as to the Same Property. Transactions: Maggie Henley (femme sole) to Joseph G. Kearney, 6 February 1897. Joseph G. Kearney to Madge A. Manion, wife of William A. Manion, and Hattie M. Kearney, wife of first party, 18 August 1898. In the Superior Court of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, Divorce Margaret A. Manion vs. William A. Manion, 22 June 1905. In the Superior Court of the County of the State of California in and for the County of San Francisco, Hattie M. Kearney and Joseph G. Kearney vs. Madge A. Manion, William A. Manion, and F. W. Hollman, Lis Pending 11 October 1907. Madge A. Manion, a femme sole to Hattie M. Kearney, wife of Joseph G. Kearney, 17 September 1908. Continued by Garden City Abstract Co. for lot of land commencing at a point in the Northeasterly line of First STreet where the dividing line between Lots 4 and 5 of the Leddy Tract intersects the same, and running thence Northeasterly along said dividing line between said Lots 4 and 5, One Hundred and Twenty Seven and Twenty Two Hundredths (127.22) feet to the Southwesterly line of Second Street; thence Southeasterly along said line of Second Street Fifty (50) feet; thence at right angles Southwesterly One Hundred and Twenty and Fifty Five Hundredths (120.55) feet, a little more or less, to the Northeasterly line of First Street, and thence Northwesterly along said last named line Fifty and Forty Five Hundredths (50.45) feet to the point of commencement. Being the Northwesterly One Half (1/2) of Lot Number Four (4) as per Map of the Leddy Tract, in the City of San Jose, surveyed April, 1884, by John Coombe, and recorded in Book B of Maps, page 41, on December 15, 1886, Records of Santa Clara County, California. Subsequent to May 5, 1909. Transactions: Hattie M. Kearney and Joseph G. Kearney of the City and County of San Francisco to Josephine L. Ehle of the County of Santa Clara, 21 May 1909. Josephine L. Ehle and H. C. Ehle, trustors, to Joseph H. Rucker and B. A. Fruhling, trustees, and Hattie M. Kearney of the City and County of San Francisco, beneficiary, 21 May 1909.
