Photograph caption dated May 29, 1936 reads, "Tracing the career that made her more than $1,000,000, Miss Minter testified: 'I came from the south with my family when i was four years old and got a part in a New York stage play. I played with the Barrymores, Maude Adams, John Drew and others and became a child star.' She then told of strating her film career."
