Description
Illustrated map of Balboa Park - Motor Tour. Starting at the Civic Stadium on the corner of Russ Blvd and 16th St., the tour goes north on 16th Street where it merges into Park Blvd, it goes past the tennis courts and streetcar platform, around Indian Village and back southbound on Avenida de Espana. This avenue goes past the Zoological Gardens to El Prado Street. From there, west on El Prado, passing the Museum of Archeology, the Park Administration Building, and arriving at the Lily Pond. The tour then goes south on 11th Ave and past the Cactus Garden and State Building along the way. It ends back at Russ Boulevard. Photo dated: October 14, 1937.
