Description
A photograph of the 1968 Church Cabinet of the Pasadena Buddhist Temple. Those seated in the first row are: Ichiro Masumoto, Tom Suechika, Rev. Shoki Mohri, Katsuichi Morioka, and James Hamano. Those standing in the back row are John Yoneda, Kwamu Domen, Roy Nishimura, Masaji Goto, Shigeo Ito, and Akira Hirata. The Nishimura and Nagata Family Papers contains items relating to the history of the Pasadena Buddhist Church, including photos of events and groups associated with the church like the Pasadena Buddhist Women's Association, the Young Buddhist League (BL), various Buddhist Church conferences, Judo competitions, and Kendo competitions. Materials also relate to the incarceration of the Nagata family at the Heart Mountain incarceration camp in Cody, Wyoming and include photographs of the family.
