Description
Exterior front view of the two-story residence of Judge Charles Silent, located in the area of 23rd and Figueroa Street. This eventually became the nucleus of Chester Place, developed from the Nathan Randolph Vail Ranch by Silent and named after his deceased son, Chester. Chester Place comprised 13 acres and contained 12 homes.
