Text written under photo: "Mason St. & Latham Place. 1918." View looks west on Latham Place from Mason Street. The alley is flanked by two large brick apartment and hotel buildings, typical of post-fire construction in this area. The building at the right is the Hotel Casino. A saloon on its bottom floor advertises Acme Beer for 5 cents.
