Title supplied by cataloger. Photographer's caption reads, "Marie hoped baptism would expunge her hatred of God. Marie's mother died when she was a child and she blamed God for years. So the faithful rolled the traditional blue-flecked Jacuzzi baptismal tub into the sanctuary at Kairos Church and let the water heat up overnight. When the official camera malfunctioned, I was drafted to be the acting photographer for the ceremony. I've looked at the images very closely on my laptop. I've zoomed in to individual pixel level. I've looked in channels and at the gradient map. I've tried every Photoshop trick I know, but it's apparently hard to see the cure for God-hating, even in a 12.6 megapixel file. Maybe it shows up somewhere in the metadata."
