Memorializing Mao's Yan'an period. This was a poster in memory of the Yan'an period of the communist revolution. Besieged by the Guo Mingdong troops, Mao called the soldiers to plough their own fields and harvest their crops in order to feed themselves. This poster shows Mao working with soldiers and peasants, together.
