This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
View of principals in the Abe Ruef extortion trial, sitting in the courtroom. Eighteen men are visible; only four are identified. William H. Langdon is seated almost exactly in the center of the photo. Samuel M. Shortridge is at his left. Ruef is at Shortridge's left, facing the camera directly. Steve Bunner is at the extreme right of the photo. To Langdon's right, unidentified, is Francis J. Heney. Text written under photo: "Langdon, Sam Shortridge, Abe Rueff [sic]." Written to right: "Steve Bunner Detective."
