Photograph caption dated February 21, 1946 reads, "Councilman Lee Warburton (second from left), who rolled the first ball opening the 10th annual Los Angeles city bowling championship tournament at the North Hollywood Bowling Center last night, looks over the class A team trophy, that some lucjy team will wind up winning. Also handling the trophy is Paul Schilling, president of the North Hollywood Business Men's League while President Joe Whithead of the Los Angeles Bowling Association looks on. Robert Menelous on far left."
