Sixteen-month-old Sutter Basin Alicante Bouschet vines stretch diagonally into the distance; photographed on July 2, 1924. "18768-C" -- lower left corner.
Sutter Basin Company developed and sold land in Sutter County as part of Sutter Basin Project. Irrigation system of pumping stations, canals, etc. was owned by Sutter Mutual Water Company. Water Company operated on co-operative basis with one share of stock attached to each acre land in Sutter Basin Project. $
