The vast hillsides spread from the foreground to the far background. Small roads can be seen snaking through the mountainsides. The observatory is a very small image in the center of the photo. The observatory consists of a large cylindrical building at center topped with a large dome. This building is flanked by two smaller cylindrical buildings also topped with small domes.
