Description
Photograph of Miss Heron and Miss Clark, both dressed in white, in one of the first automobiles used in La Fiesta parade, Los Angeles, ca.1901-1907. The entire vehicle, wheels included, is covered in flowers. A fanciful armiture holding dove replicas "flies" ahead of the float. The car is sitting next to the curb in front of a wooden building. About about 8 people are in the background looking on. This float won first prize. A small placard attached to the rear of the car reads "Class M, number 2".
