Description
Architect G. Lawrence Stimson designed the Mission Revival style Wrigley Mansion (391 South Orange Grove Blvd., Pasadena) in 1911 for William Wrigley. In 1958 the mansion was donated to the city of Pasadena to be used as the Tournament of Roses Headquarters. This property is a city of Pasadena Designated Historic Landmark.
Pictured is newly crowned Rose Parade Queen, Carole Washburn, 18, of 555 S. San Rafael, Pasadena. Ms. Washburn stands at Tournament of Roses headquarters. Photograph dated January 3, 1961.
