This photograph can be found on page 95 of the 1932 Pomona College yearbook, "Metate", with this information: Valkyries is the honorary Sophomore women's organization, founded in 1928 and comprising a membership of fifteen women, chosen at the conclusion of their Freshman year as being outstanding 'in leadership, character, and willingness to cooperate'".
