Description
Surgery and amputation kit of the type used in the field during the Civil War. This kit is unique because it contains a syringe kit that was added at a later date. The cutters were made by Sharp and Smith of Chicago and were not part of the original kit. Contains: 1 saw, 5 knives, 1 tweezers, 1 hooked probe, 1 pair surgical clippers, 1 tourniquet, 3 needles, 1 syringe kit by Johnson & Johnson (probably of later origin.) Handles of original instruments are pre sterilization. Missing one tool.
