Photograph caption dated May 2, 1961 reads, "Neal Brostoff, 14, one of the winners in the Young Artist competition sponsored by the San Fernando mentors at the W. F. Beachey home, 22327 Oxnard St., Woodland Hills. James Swift, left, is conductor for the symphony, G. Wade Ferguson served as chairman of the Young Artist competition. Brostoff lives with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hyman Brostoff, 7334 Riverton Ave., Sun Valley."
