Photograph caption dated April 13, 1960 reads, "Crowds are busting out all over! Here's portion of wild-eyed throng that set a new National League night game record in the season debut of the Dodgers The evening was cool, but it warmed up with Essegian's red-hot finish! It was a thriller all the way, with Big Don Drysdale striking out 14 Cubs. Drysdale even got a hit, but it was his pinch-hitter who broke up the ball game."
