Plates in: Two weeks in Mendocino through the redwood country, August 1886 : photograph album. Plate [5].
Shows cliffs at sea's edge. Buildings on top of cliff, three lumber chutes built out from clifs. Sailing ship at bottom of middle chute.
Stewarts Point is promontory located in Sonoma County, north/northwest of village of Stewarts Point. Was landing for shipping lumber products via schooners.
