Description
Two carved redwood horse busts with harness that were positioned on the top floor of the Van Voorhies-Phinney Company building located at 322-324 J Street when it was remodeled in 1892. The horses look in opposite directions. Most of the paint has been removed but there is evidence the horse busts were painted white with gold accents at one time.
