Description
Photograph article dated November 28, 1963 reads, "Two men injured in a rocket fuel test facility explosion at Rocketdyne, Santa Susana, which Monday claimed the lives of two others, continued to improve today... Meanwhile, funeral services were announced for the fatally injured victims. Rosary will be recited for John M. Scribner, 21, 7225 Yarmouth Ave., Reseda, at 8 p.m. today in St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church, 16771 Gault St., Van Nuys, with Requiem Mass conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, with burial following at San Fernando Mission Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Joan; a son, John Jr.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Scribner; a brother, Steven, and a sister, Mrs. Rita Williams." Pictured are John M.
