Photograph of the Forster Family Tomb at the cemetery of San Juan Capistrano, ca.1930. A small mausoleum is shown at center, framed by tree foliage. Gravemarkers of varying size, but primarily short crosses, comprise the rest of the scene. Additional information: Originally, the image was captioned as "Don Juan Forster's tomb at the cemetery of San Juan Capistrano, ca.1930", however, Don Juan (John) Forster was buried in a cemetery in East LA over 5,000 people attended his funeral. Mr. Forster was the owner of the Santa Margerita Ranch, as well as of the Mission Capistrano. He was the brother-in-law to Pio Pico.
