Scope/Content: Children by tar paper shacks at Three Rocks, a farm worker community composed of condemned houses. Houses were originally on ranchers' land, but later moved to promoter's land. Promoter gave tenants houses and rented the land to avoid housing code penalties. No water was piped in. Houses were torn down in the mid-1960s and were replaced by a Federal self-help housing project.
