Description
A replica of the Statue of Liberty stands as a symbol of freedom on the stage at the Sports Arena as leaders of the August 30, 1961 anti-communism rally applaud one of the speakers who warned of Red treachery. Some 16,000 persons attended the rally, devoted particularly to the youth of the nation. In the background, from right to left of the statue, are Pat Boone, Mrs. Ronald Reagan, Reagan, Lee Childs, Don Defore and other prominent fighters for Americanism.
