Description
Photograph of the "Fiestas Patrias" in Guadalajara, Mexico, 1919. Two men, an officer and a man in a fine suit and hat lead the parade at center. An automobile filled with women drives directly behind them while several more automobiles follow in the precession. The streets are lined on either side with crowds of citizens. Two-story buildings with intricate Mexican architecture stand on the far right and continue down the street into the distance. A tall building with a dome tower at its corner stands on the left with people viewing the festivities through its large, arched windows.
