Photograph of a man making a tire at the B. F. Goodrich Company, ca.1950. Holding a two-color tire in his hands, an elderly gentleman examines the piece with gloves. Tires are cured in a press where a mold, under heat and pressure, forms the tread design. A line of molds stands at right, while several tires are suspended at left.
