Description
Annotation translation: "People who live with the principal in his house, proud, well-fleshed, lazy brahmin youths. The missionaries Höhmann and Dengler were once invited to midday meal there, which was, of course, a friendly act."
Annotation: "Die Hausgenossen des Prinzipals, stolze, fette, faule Brahmanenjünglinge. Miss. Höhmann & Dengler waren einmal zum Mittagessen dort eingeladen, was immerhin eine Freundlichkeit bedeutet."
Note: "Die Hausgenossen des Prinzipals, stolze, fette, faule Brahmanenjünglinge. Bruder Höhmann und ich waren einmal zum Mittagessen dort eingeladen, was immerhin eine Freundlichkeit bedeutet, die nicht unterschätzt sein will." (Begleitbrief von Dengler mit Bildlegenden, in Schachtel C-30.88).
Note translation: "People who live with the principal in his house, proud, well-fleshed, lazy brahmin youths. Brother Höhmann and I were once invited to a midday meal there, which is a sign of friendship which should not be underestimated." (Accompanying letter from Dengler with the caption, in box C-30.88).
