Annotation translation: "People who live with the principal in his house, proud, well-fleshed, lazy brahmin youths. The missionaries Höhmann and Dengler were once invited to midday meal there, which was, of course, a friendly act." Annotation: "Die Hausgenossen des Prinzipals, stolze, fette, faule Brahmanenjünglinge. Miss. Höhmann & Dengler waren einmal zum Mittagessen dort eingeladen, was immerhin eine Freundlichkeit bedeutet." Note: "Die Hausgenossen des Prinzipals, stolze, fette, faule Brahmanenjünglinge. Bruder Höhmann und ich waren einmal zum Mittagessen dort eingeladen, was immerhin eine Freundlichkeit bedeutet, die nicht unterschätzt sein will."
