"Original Poulsen sets brought from Denmark in 1909 by C. F. Elwell. They mark the beginning of continuous wave transmission in the United States, also the birth of Federal Telegraph." Caption by Douglas M. Perham. These installations are most likely in Denmark, not Palo Alto, resembling illustrations in earlier articles on Poulsen's work.
