Photograph caption dated April 14, 1964 reads, "Bobby Darin, nominee for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar which went to Melvyn Douglas, is 'consoled' by wife Sandra Dee at the Academy banquet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. 'Sorry I lost?' Darin said. 'Man, that feeling left when Sidney Poitier got his. That was just too great!'"
