Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Lincoln School in Taft, ca.1930. At center, a long, two-story, Greek Revival-style building is pictured, comprised of five sections. At the middle, the main entrance is visible, a tall arch indicating its doorway. This section extends out from the two that flank it, arcades set further back in the architecture. At the far left, a third section extends from the arcade in similar fashion to the entrance, although no door is immediately evident. At the far right, the fifth section extends legthily at a ninety-degree angle from the right arcade. In the foreground, a swath of dry ground is separated from the school via a narrow road that extends from left to right.
