Professor Thomas Gladwin continues as a panelist and introduces Alex d'Arbeloff as a next speaker. Alex d'Arbeloff is a chairmand and president of Teradyne Corporation. The topic of the session is "insight on implementing growth." d'Arbeloff highlights his experience leading a corporation producing test equipments and electronic systems and growing the business. He mentions the importance of product quality in competing with industries in Japan. He makes references to Drucker's work on long-range planning and staying close with customers. D'Arbeloff concludes his discussion with some successes that help grow his industry.
