Description: Pomona College seniors, dressed in formal attire and carrying ivy chains and umbrellas, gather on the grounds of Holmes Hall near the corner of Fifth Street and College Avenue on Class Day, 1902. (Note the wooden platform in the background that was used for the telescope before Brackett Observatory was built in 1908.)
