Description
This photo of the Sacramento Credit Women’s Breakfast Club was taken on July 15, 1947. The Sacramento group was established in May 1947, born out of a desire for credit office workers to organize and socialize. Modeling itself after similar clubs in Portland, San Francisco, Oakland and Berkeley, Sacramento started with 50 members. The first chapter was started in Portland in 1930.
