Title supplied by cataloger. Large eucalyptus trees shade the entrance to the Chautauqua Tabernacle in Long Beach, a wood building with a central nave. A sign at the entrance lists service hours. Originally the Methodist Tabernacle, it seated 1,700 people and was used as a church and community center in the city's early days. It was demolished in 1915.
