The article dated April 1, 1963 partially reads, "Establishment of the Valley Times TODAY as a Valley Dodger-Angel ticket office was announced jointly today by the newspaper and the Los Angeles Dodger and Angel baseball clubs...The new ticket office has been established for the convenience of Valley residents and as a direct result of the hundreds of requests for baseball information than pour into the newspaper each year during the baseball season."
