Description
Photograph caption dated November 28, 1956 reads, "This is Laurel Junior High School's champion Hornets of the Valley Christian School Conference, a squad which compiled a 5-1 football record and clinched the title by beating Campbell Hall, 32-6, as captain Lynn Jensen ran for four touchdowns and passed for a fifth. Jensen was the conference leader in total offense and in punting with a 42-yard average. Pictured, from left, are (front row) Ron Young, manager; Robert Roberts, Lynn Jensen, Dave Jenson, and Jerry Parkel, and (rear) coach Dan Hoover, Roger Anderson, Bruce Borrud, Bob Spoon and Greg Anderson in the rear."
