Description: "Pastor Lauga følger Rainandriamampandry til retterstedet" ( "Pastor Lauga follows Rainandriamampandry to the place of execution"). Prince Ratsimamanga was executed at the same time on October 15,1896. See also IMPA 1601, IMPA 1602, IMPA 1603, IMPA 2856 and IMPA 2857.
This place "Champs des Allouettes" was near the NMS garden at Antsahamanitra. Johanna Borckgrevink did not like that executions be held so near her home, so she persuaded the French Governor at the time to move to another place for such activity.
