Image of an eye-level street view of State Street in Albany, New York, depicted in the early 19th century, from the top of a hill with two men sawing a log before a storefront with the sign "Chair Manufa[cturer]," a horse-drawn cart, houses, storefronts, and a church, with hills in the distance.
Probable date based on printer history. "R. H. Pease's Lith., Albany."--text, bottom right margin. "From Original Sketches in the Possession of Gen. J. Tayler Cooper, by Jas. Eights. / Published by R. H. Pease, 516 Broadway, Albany."--text, bottom margin centered.
