Description
This film relfects the activities of the Young Women's Christian Association's (YWCA) Department of Pagentry and Drama. The department's goal was to of develop community drama at local YWCA chapters, such as the Fesno, California chapter which was founded in 1904. According to Theater Magazine, Vol. 31, 1920, "The Widening Circle" was a community theater pageant produced by the Grand Rapids, Michigan YWCA. The production was directed by Julia Hogan and twenty-one local artists participated.
