Description
Robert Cassano’s career at Caltrans spanned 36 years, from 1951 to 1987. From 1984 to 1987 he was the Head of the Division of Structures. The interview includes his impressions of the major engineering and administrative issues that faced the Department during his long career, and focuses primarily on bridges and structures and the people involved in finding solutions to structure-related problems.
