Photograph of people in an automobile camp at the Los Angeles Municipal Camp Grounds in Elysian Park, January, 1923. Two women are seen below the center in between two parked automobiles. The automobile in the left seems to have what seems to be a tent attached to its side. A sleeping bag is visible inside the tent. On an elevated area a girl and a boy are seated on an extended wooden pole, directly above the women. Behind them, a cabin is visible. To its right, what seems to be an open picnic area covered by a roof made out of leaves shows people under it. Eucalyptus trees are seen in the background and hills fill the backdrop.
