Minister of the Interior Rainandriampandry and Prince Ratsimamanga (the Queen's uncle) were executed on October 15, 1896. This picture is taken on the exact moment the shoots are fired off. There are soldiers present during the execution. See also A02-112 to 115 and A06-451.
