Image of three members of the American Legion City Hall Post 387 and a dog in the bed of pickup truck bed, presumably decorated as a parade float, containing a boat labeled the "Honey Boat" and gas masks with a sign reading "it Took A Legionaire to do it, submarine fleet of City Hall Post, The Sewer Boat that made hazardous inspection thru Los Angeles Sewer, actual equipment used."
Title devised by cataloger. Date devised by cataloger based on presumably related articles in Los Angeles Times in July 1936 for trip made by Reuben Brown, an engineer for the City of Los Angeles, to inspect city sewers (see "Sewer Trip Peril," Los Angeles Times, July 5, 1936, page 1).
