Photograph was edited for publication purposes; Used in the exhibit "Over Our Heads: Los Angeles Goes From Stargazing to Moon Landing" Photograph caption dated January 11, 1963 reads, "Sunday visitors to the California Museum of Science and Industry in Exposition Park, Los Angeles, look over space suit in the 'Space for the Benefit of Mankind,' a $1-million science exhibit brought from the World's Fair in Seattle. The exhibit, sponsored by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, includes full-scale mockups of the Mercury capsule used by America's astronauts, the Nimbus weather satellite and the tail section of the Saturn rocket. Exhibit will run through Feb. 6."
